The Sagrada Familia school is at present the only school of the left part of Eixample Esquerra that offers a bilingual/trilingual educational proposal for: Infant Education, Primary and ESO.
We offer an educational model inspired by the values of our founder Saint Vincent of Paül, and of Saint Louise of Marillac, providing our students with a comprehensive education that favours their autonomy, their critical sense and their social commitment.
We take as a reference for our educational action the human values, social and Christian of our ideology. Our teaching philosophy is based on the attention to the person and the commitment for work, effort and personal improvement in order to look for the continuous excellence in all senses.
The Vincentian School Foundation (FEV) was born following the will and commitment of the Daughters of Charity Company of the canonical province of Barcelona for their educational work. After careful analysis and deep reflection, the sisters take the determination to boost their schools, with the main objective to fully form and educate current and future students as a Christian school, according to the character of Saint Vincent of Paül and Saint Louise of Marillac. Thus, the sisters founded the FEV in 1996, integrating in January 1997, the first centre, the Sagrada Familia School of Barcelona. The process culminated in 2010 with the addition of the 15 centres that form our Foundation.
On 27th of September 2017 we unify with the province of Pamplona and now we are part of "East Spain".
Founded the 1867 by the Congregation of Daughters of the Charity of Saint Vicent of Paül, our school has always been characterised for having a strong rooting to the neighbourhood and for giving service to the poorest. Since 1997 our school belongs to the Vincentian School Foundation, created with the purpose to drive the educationals centres of our Congregation.
In 2017 our centre celebrated 150 years of history in the city of Barcelona. Throughout the 2016-17 academic year, different commemorative acts were held.
The events related to the 150th anniversary ended on 27th of November 2017 with a Eucharist with the participation of the entire educational community.
